Nifty video of a F1 car cut in half

I love it when the engineer refers to driver Sergio Perez as just another component.

Remodels and Additions

No doubt you can tell I've been swingin' my HTML hammer and knocked out a couple walls, made some additions and repainted the place.

The blogroll has been simplified.  No more categorization for anyone. It was too much trouble trying to figure out where everyone should go.

I added links to a couple of podcasts I really enjoy.  Vicious Circle, it's just what it says it is.  Not for the faint of heart or the delicate of ear.  And B&B Guns, Breda and Bonnie do it right.  Make certain and give them a listen.

I also added a bunch of new people, so if you find yourself on here, thanks for publishing your thoughts and allowing me to link to them.  If you don't find yourself on my blogroll and wish to be added, please drop me a note and I'll add you.

Not too shabby

All of the cool kids have found out who they write like, and I feel like I'm being sucked in compelled to find out who I write like. Apparently Samuel Clemens and I share something.

I write like
Mark Twain

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I'm humbled.

Trolls

I suppose that some people are jealous in that I write a blog. Granted, I'm not by ANY stretch of the imagination a great writer. As I've stated before, my blog is my personal publishing point. I allow comments on most every post I put up, but like an editor at the newspaper, I get to pick and choose what gets posted for the public to see. Your right to free speech ends where my blog begins. If you wish to libel me, then write your own damn blog. Trolls will not be tolerated.

Blogroll Additions and Site Changes

First off, let me welcome Crip Chronicles, written by Chris. Chris, like myself, thinks that running around in the woods chasing rally cars is a fine way to spend a weekend. Go check out his blog. Did I mention we share a liking for Subaru Outback Sports? With the exception of our choice of transmission, our cars are virtually identical. Welcome Chris.

Next, I've taken the jump into cashing in on the internet. You'll probably notice The Ready Store ove on the right hand side about midway down. They offer a variety of preparedness items that are reasonably priced. Please, click on the link and check them out.

Finally, I added a new widget for the Examiner.com writers. It should update as each one posts new articles. I miss a lot of fine writing and maybe now you & I both can read these folks who have a passion for defending our 2nd amendment rights.

Again, I run a reciprocal blogroll here at Top of the Chain. Please e-mail me if you wish to be added to the mix.

Blogroll additions

So I'm checking my Top of the Chain e-mail account and I do check the spam box for errant 'real' mail that gets misdirected from time to time. The sender had a .org email address and I googled the .org to find out where it came from. It was legit so I went ahead and opened up the e-mail. It was a very nice note from Hell On Earth.

HOE likes his guns, purdy womenfolk and 69-72 Chevy trucks. A winner in my book. Oh yeah, he's formerly one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. What is it with Marines & me. I know or are acquainted with a disproportionately high number of them. Just kidding Welcome to the TotC blogroll.

Next up is Just Another Missouri Rebel. He's a fellow co-conspirator at the GBC. He lives close to this. I help organize the event and look forward to meeting him in person fairly soon.

As always, my blog policy is that if you don't see your blog in my blogroll, please let me know. I do reciprocate. I enjoy feedback, so let me know you're out there and what you think.

Bloggin

If someone had told me five years ago that I would be writing about me writing from a wireless internet access point in a bowling alley in suburban St. Louis, I'd have said maybe and moved on. Actually doing it like right now is commonplace.
