While fiction writers offer up thrillers where the Commander in Chief is in the sights of some world class assassin, here in the real world we all have to wait until 2012. By that I mean going to the polls and exercising our right to a secret ballot. Besides which, that would leave Joeblow Biden in charge.

Whether you believe in God, a god, or the flying spaghetti monster one of our country's greatest freedoms is the one that says we get to choose who or what we worship, if any at all.
