The cat... er document is out of the bag

Recently a TSA document that was never meant for public eyes was leaked to a number of whistleblower sites. In fact, the document itself had been on a government website since March of this year. And the TSA is worried about the public learning of this. I think it's high time that the government clean it's own house up first before it starts going after whistleblowers. It was discovered by a blogger and reposted. Now three members of the House panel for Homeland Security want to write a law that would make it illegal to publish this document. Another law, heh. Representatives Peter T. King (R – New York), Charles Dent (R – Pennsylvania) and Gus Bilirakis (R – Florida) are three congressmen who are supporting this. Gentlemen, and I use that term, loosely, you just don't get it. No silly law is going to stop this. No, words that will be lost because some prosecutor has too much on his plate already will stop this from being disseminated. In fact, you can find it here.

I don't know why I'm shaking my head right now, of course some douchebag congress critter wants to pass another useless law.

One nice thing about the 'net, once they've been ratted out, it can't be covered up anymore.

There IS a bright side!!! Maybe they will at least FIX some of the procedures to actually be more productive (holding breath)...

NFO - That would be nice if they looked inward first. Time will tell if they heed the lesson learned from this.
